Taking into account the growth of the financial services group INDEXO across different business lines, the shareholders\u2019 meeting of the group\u2019s parent company IPAS INDEXO, to be held on 1 July, will decide on the election of a new Supervisory Board of IPAS INDEXO in order to strengthen the company\u2019s governance. The following candidates have been nominated to the Supervisory Board of IPAS INDEXO: Svens Dinsdorfs, Druvis M\u016brmanis, M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Jaunar\u0101js, J\u0101nis Pizi\u010ds and Madis Toomsalu.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the following candidates have been nominated to the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank: Henrik Karmo, Zlata Elksni\u0146a<\/strong>\u2011Za\u0161\u010dirinska, Druvis M\u016brmanis, M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Jaunar\u0101js, J\u0101nis Pizi\u010ds and Madis Toomsalu. The decision on the election of the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank will be taken at a separate shareholders\u2019 meeting of INDEXO Bank.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bank of Latvia has approved the compliance of the proposed candidates for the Supervisory\u00a0Boards\u00a0of both IPAS INDEXO and INDEXO Bank with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Supervisory\u00a0Board\u00a0of INDEXO Bank will be elected by its shareholder \u2013 IPAS INDEXO. The chairpersons of the\u00a0Supervisory\u00a0Boards\u00a0will be elected from among their members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Supervisory\u00a0Boards\u00a0of INDEXO Group companies will be strengthened by professionals with\u00a0significant experience\u00a0in the financial sector, particularly in banking development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Madis Toomsalu is a long-standing\u00a0CEO of LHV Group,\u00a0Chairman\u00a0of the Supervisory board of Estonia\u2019s LHV Pank and\u00a0Chairman\u00a0of the\u00a0Board of Directors of UK\u2019s LHV Bank.\u00a0Over the years, he has gained extensive experience across various LHV Group companies,\u00a0including in\u00a0bank strategy, asset management, lending,\u00a0and financial market analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Druvis M\u016brmanis will bring in-depth private investment management\u00a0expertise\u00a0to the\u00a0Supervisory Boards, gained across the financial, real estate, energy,\u00a0logistics\u00a0and manufacturing sectors. He has held senior positions in the banking industry, including serving as a Member of the Management Board of AS\u00a0Hansabanka\u00a0during a period of rapid growth. He was later elected to the Management Board of\u00a0Hansabank\u00a0Group, contributing to the management and development of the Group\u2019s operations across the Baltic region. Mr. M\u016brmanis is also one of the founders of INDEXO and has previously held several important roles in the financial sector, including as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Riga Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u0101nis\u00a0Pizi\u010ds\u00a0will\u00a0also join the\u00a0Supervisory\u00a0Boards.\u00a0He is a partner at the investment\u00a0fund\u00a0Merito Partners and a member of the Supervisory Board of AS\u00a0DelfinGroup. He began his professional career at EY (then Ernst & Young) and has\u00a0subsequently\u00a0been part of the management teams of companies across various industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is planned that the long-standing\u00a0Chairman\u00a0of the Supervisory Boards of IPAS INDEXO and INDEXO Bank, Valdis Vancovi\u010ds, and\u00a0Ren\u0101ts\u00a0Lokomets\u00a0will step down to focus on other professional\u00a0commitments.\u00a0Meanwhile,\u00a0M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Jaunar\u0101js\u00a0plans\u00a0to continue serving on both\u00a0Supervisory\u00a0Boards,\u00a0Zlata\u00a0Elksni\u0146a\u2011Za\u0161\u010dirinska\u00a0only\u00a0on the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank, and Svens\u00a0Dinsdorfs\u00a0only on the Supervisory\u00a0Board\u00a0of IPAS INDEXO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zlata\u00a0Elksni\u0146a\u2011Za\u0161\u010dirinska\u00a0joined the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank\u00a0in February this year\u00a0after more than ten years leading the professional services firm PwC Latvia. Svens Dinsdorfs joined INDEXO Group\u00a0at its founding\u00a0in 2017 and is also a Member of the Management Board and CEO of one of the region\u2019s leading technology companies, AS ELKO Grupa. He is also a member of the Audit Committee of AS\u00a0Latvenergo. M\u0101rti\u0146\u0161 Jaunar\u0101js joined the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank last year and has built up\u00a0significant experience\u00a0in the financial sector over his career, currently serving as a partner at the investment firm SIA\u00a0BaltCap\u00a0Management Latvia. Previously, he held senior positions at AS\u00a0Hansabanka, AS Parex Banka and AP Anlage und\u00a0Privatbank\u00a0AG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
