Following the granting of a banking license to INDEXO Bank, INDEXO has made several changes in the management boards of our companies. Valdis Siksnis will leave IPAS INDEXO management board and will head INDEXO Bank, the subsidiary of IPAS INDEXO. His role as a chairman of IPAS INDEXO will be assumed by Henrik Karmo, who was previously a board member of the company. Both V. Siksnis and H. Karmo are founders of INDEXO.
Alongside Valdis Siksnis, Ieva Bauma will also leave the board of the IPAS INDEXO pension management company to focus on her role in the management board of INDEXO Bank. I. Bauma will continue to be responsible for the new bank’s marketing and communication, as well as INDEXO investor relations.
The board of the IPAS INDEXO pension management company will now include INDEXO penison fund manager Artūrs Roze and INDEXO head of legal affairs Marija Černoštana. A. Roze is a long-standing head of the financial sector at the INDEXO pension management company, while M. Černoštana has over 20 years of experience with one of the largest banks in the Baltics.
“As we continue significant investments to grow our pension business and strive to successfully launch a bank during this summer, the changes in the management structure help to focus better on each of our businesses. As a team we will continue working towards our mission to improve the financial environment in Latvia and build a successful local financial group,” says Henrik Karmo, one of the founders of INDEXO and the new chairman of IPAS INDEXO.
The changes in company management have been coordinated with the Bank of Latvia and will be submitted for registration with the Enterprise Register.
