INDEXO Bank has joined the VISA payment card system and has already issued the first VISA cards to INDEXO Bank employees, who have made the first card payments for testing purposes. Additionally, INDEXO Bank is also unveiling the card designs, which involved the participation of more than 3,000 people who expressed their opinions online about the possible appearance of the cards. The visual design of the bank’s cards is minimalist to emphasize the simplicity of using the new bank’s services.
“Joining the VISA system is one of the final practical steps before INDEXO Bank opens its doors to Latvian residents. At the moment, we want to ensure that the new bank provides a level of service quality from day one that has not been seen in the Latvian financial market before – we aim to achieve this with an intuitively easy-to-use mobile application and efficient processes, as well as flawless operation of all basic bank products, including cards. Therefore, we are currently testing everything with real payments and users, who for now are only bank employees,” says Valdis Siksnis, one of the founders of INDEXO and the Chairman of the Board of the new INDEXO Bank.
VISA is a company that provides card payments in more than 200 countries and territories. Currently, there are more than 3.5 billion different payment cards with the VISA brand issued worldwide.
