Are there limits on payments?
Yes, for your financial security, payments have a standard limit of up to €2,500 per day. If you plan to make a larger purchase, we recommend evaluating the need to increase the limit in advance, as the review may take up to 1 business day. Please note that limit increases are not processed on weekends and public holidays.
You can view and change your current limit in the “Limits” section:
1. Tap on your profile or name initials in the upper left corner
2. Tap “Limits”
3. Tap “Spending limit” and choose your preferred limit
Are payments to a phone number safe?
Yes, just as safe as any other payment.
How quickly is a payment processed?
If the transfer is between INDEXO Bank clients, the payment is usually processed within a few seconds.
Payments to other banks are also processed within a few seconds if the recipient’s bank accepts instant payments. Standard payments are processed on the next business day. It depends on when the payment is confirmed by the recipient’s bank and the Central Bank.
How to make a payment if I only know the recipient's number?
To make a payment in the INDEXO Bank app, open the “Send, Request” section, tap “Send money”, and choose one of the existing contacts or tap “Create new payment” and “Phone number payment” – in both cases a payment window will open where you can enter the desired amount.
