On 26 October, Jānis Pizičs will join the management team of INDEXO Bank, bringing more than 20 years of professional experience spanning finance, investments, and the operations and management of international companies. Subject to the required approval from Latvijas Banka, Jānis Pizičs is expected to become Chairman of the Management Board of INDEXO Bank. Valdis Siksnis, current Chairman of the Management Board of INDEXO Bank and one of INDEXO’s founders, is expected to continue his work on the Supervisory Boards of INDEXO Bank and INDEXO Group, subject to the required approval from Latvijas Banka and shareholders.

Jānis Pizičs has extensive experience in finance, investments and business development, including building and growing businesses across different markets. He began his career at Ernst & Young and later held senior management positions in Latvian and international companies. From 2017 to 2020, Jānis Pizičs served as Chief Operating Officer and later as Group CEO of Finko Group, gaining extensive international experience in lending across multiple markets. Since 2022, he has been a partner at Merito Partners and, since 2021, a member of the Supervisory Board of AS DelfinGroup. In July 2026, Jānis Pizičs also became a member of the Supervisory Boards of INDEXO Bank and IPAS INDEXO. Prior to joining the management team of INDEXO Bank, he stepped down from his positions on the Supervisory Boards of INDEXO Bank and IPAS INDEXO. Jānis Pizičs is also an INDEXO shareholder, directly and indirectly holding a total of 85,360 INDEXO shares.

Jānis Pizičs holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and an MBA in finance from Riga Business School. He is ACCA qualified and has also completed the Board Member Education Programme and Chair of the Board Education Programme at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance.
