Mārtiņš Jaunarājs has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of AS INDEXO Bank, bringing nearly thirty years of experience in leading positions within Latvian financial and technology sectors, commercial banks and investment funds. M. Jaunarājs joins Ramona Miglāne, Valdis Vancovičs, Svens Dinsdorfs and Renāts Lokomets on the Supervisory Board of INDEXO Bank.

This combination of competencies is an asset for the future development of INDEXO Bank. This year, the bank plans to take significant steps by adding mortgage lending to its range of services and starting to serve businesses. At the beginning of his professional career, Mārtiņš Jaunarājs was the Head of Corporate Sales in the Financial Markets Division at AS Hansabanka (later AS Swedbank), and later joined AS Parex Banka, where he held senior positions in the bank’s capital markets and investment banking services for approximately seven years. M. Jaunarājs has worked in the management teams of various financial and technology companies, such as being a member of the Supervisory Board of the Swiss bank AP Anlage und Privatbank AG, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of Latvian SIA Primekss Group and a partner and investment director at the investment fund BaltCap. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SIA Pure Chocolate.
M. Jaunarājs has been a certified financial analyst by the international CFA Institute since 1999 and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Latvia.
By the end of 2024, approximately four months after the bank’s operations began, INDEXO Bank already had more than 21 000 clients, and the volume of entrusted deposits exceeded 33 million euros.
